Partying for 4th of July at SBYC

Not a Sea Scout event per se, but a rip-snorting good time anyway.  About 300 people showed up throughout the day, with hundreds of people up on the levees watching the Alviso fireworks.

The locals go CRAZY with fireworks!

Lots of tasty BBQ cooked by our very own SBYC members
Everybody brought their own meat, we provided the heat.

The fabulous "5150 Band" rocked the house!Photo

The partiers were having a kick inside while chowing down and waiting for the Alviso fireworks

And the the sun went down over the Alviso Slough.  And the locals came out with fireworks....
The levee was packed with spectators...
